The gap is filled - NEC responds to market requests

It has been a long time coming but the gap in NEC's LCD range between 6.5" and 10.4" has been now been filled with it's latest VGA Colour TFT panel of 8.4". To coincide with it's launch Displaze, a specialist Flat Panel solutions company, is introducing a driver card kit complete with everything a user needs to get the panel running within minutes.

The K640DRV-EU-84 comes complete with all the necessary cables, driver card, LCD panel and inverter to get you up and running within minutes of receiving it. The driver card accepts video input from RGB graphics, PAL/NTSC and SVHS sources of resolutions up to SXGA and refresh rates up to 85Hz. Automatic scaling of higher resolution images to VGA, 640x480, is performed on-board.

On screen menus provide user control over a comprehensive range of image manipulation features such as display format, video source format along with the standard Brightness and Contrast adjustment, etc. Other features of the driver card include VESA Power Management support and Plug & Play Operation.

Features of the LCD panel make it appropriate for use in industrial, medical and instrumentation applications where a extended temperature specifiation may be required. It's 400CD/m2 high brightness also provides advantages where the ambient light levels are high. Superior wde viewing angles, 120degree horizontal and 100degree vertical, allow more of the image to be seen more of the time increasing your products desirability and funcitonality.
